UCLA Athletics

2013-2014 | UCLA Athletics

Role(s): Graphic design intern

Project Type: Flyer, digital banners, newspaper ads

Client Type: Collegiate athletic organization

The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) is not only known for its academics, but also its famous and competitive athletic organization. UCLA student-athletes compete in the Pac-12 Conference with numerous championships (national, NCAA and Olympics).

The UCLA Athletics Graphic Design internship was my first offical job experience as a graphic designer. I worked closely with the Marketing department on these projects.

Weekly Sports Schedules

The Weekly Sports Schedules are published in the Daily Bruin (UCLA student newspaper) to inform students about UCLA sports teams' home games.

Friday Night Football

The digital banner was a part of the Friday Night Football campaign which lived in the UCLA Athletics website. I also designed email banners in different sizes with the same design.

Team Cards

UCLA sports teams had team cards that had their team photo and names of all the players. There were team cards for baseball, gymnastics, men's/women's basketball, men's/women's soccer, men's/women's tennis, men's/women's track and field, men's/women's volleyball, men's/women's water polo, softball, and swim/dive. I designed the template a template for the team cards.

Veteran's Day

Flyers were advertised to veterans and members of the U.S. Armed Forces to attend UCLA sports events during the Veteran's Day weekend.
