The Center for the Art of Performance (CAP) is UCLA's performing arts organization that provides direct exposure to various forms of performance art. They support both established and emerging artists who create extraordinary work in contemporary dance, theater, music, and other genres.
During my last year as an undergraduate, I worked as a Graphic Designer work-study for CAP at UCLA. I designed digital ads, flyers, posters, website assets, and programs for various performances under the supervision of a Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing Director.
Digital ads were placed around UCLA's campus, including the Royce Hall lobby, to promote upcoming performances to the community.
Printed flyers with details on upcoming CAP at UCLA performances were mailed to members and donors.
I designed and printed the program layout using copy and images provided by CAP at UCLA, and bound them on the day of the performance.
CAP UCLA collaborates with UCLA students, primarily through the Student Committee, a student organization that has been active for over 50 years on the UCLA campus. They work together to provide student discounts, programming opportunities, and advocacy to enhance the experiences of every UCLA student. I designed a print and digital ad to promote UCLA's beginning-of-the-school-year events.
